The PAM1232 Submersible Carbotech Blue Abisso. The watch is housed in the lightest material Panerai employs in any of their watches. Creating a forged carbon look that has its own identity and finger print. No two pieces will ever have the same pattern making it unique to the buyer. The crown on this piece is made out of DLC Titanium which matches nicely with the Carbotech Matte black hue. The dial is a gorgeous matte deep blue with white indexes that are outlined in black giving it a nice contrast.

Although these pieces don’t feature recycled materials in their cases like the eSteel models, they do continue their commitment by using straps that are made from recycled materials.

With a commitment to creating these 44mm versions it’s becoming obvious to some extent that the brand does listen to it’s users and tries to mesh their beliefs and plans with that of the clients that love the brand dearly. Are smaller submersibles for everyone? Probably not, but it’s for the segment of the market that has wanted more of them forever.
