How is the craftsmanship of the new ARF Daytona series with weight balance and 4131 movement?

Hello everyone! The new ARF Daytona series,?featuring a weight balance version, is available?in eight different color options. Some of you might not be very familiar with ARF, so here??s a quick overview: ARF’s quality is quite similar to Clean Factory, though it lacks some of the finer details found in Clean and VS Factory models. However, ARF offers excellent value for money overall.

The new Daytona series, including models like the Datejust and GMT, has also been released by ARF. Overall, the quality is quite good, especially the weight balance version, which is slightly heavier than the VS Factory version. The movement used is the Dandong 4131 movement, and many of the parts are sourced from the same suppliers as C Factory, though not all parts come from the same factory. For example, the rubber strap comes from a different factory, so its quality and detail are not as refined as C Factory??s. However, other elements, like the dial and bezel, are quite similar.

Looking at the overall craftsmanship, the dial is clean and well-executed. The hands, hour markers, and sub-dial patterns (CD and radial textures) are all well done, and the lume filling and scale details are spot on. For a large-scale factory model, the quality is very solid with no obvious flaws. The bezel, engravings, and font are all precise, and the weight is about 160g, typically ranging between 160g and 162g, which is very close to the original.

The clasp is worth mentioning too??typically, the strap isn’t fully assembled when it leaves the factory, so a screwdriver is included for users to install it themselves. The engraving inside the clasp is deep, and the feel of the GCD code is smooth. The chamfering and polishing of the clasp edges are done well, with no significant issues, and the strap length typically follows the EF standard.

As for the case, the weight balance processing isn??t as finely polished as the full ceramic polishing, though it??s still quite well done. The gray rubber bottom version is very popular right now, and the front colors and radial texture are accurate. The overall feel is quite good. Comparatively, the white case version looks a bit better than the gold case, which feels a bit bulkier.
