Mechanical Watch Movement
Automatic mechanical watches rely on the oscillating rotor. Arm swing during daily wear drives the rotor to wind the spring automatically. Frequent manual winding is not required for daily use.
Shortcomings also exist. Influenced by gravity, temperature and impact, time deviation is unavoidable. Daily error within ±15‑30 seconds counts as normal. Periodic professional maintenance is required.
Quartz Watch Movement
There is no complex mechanical transmission structure. You only need battery replacement every few years.
Disadvantages lie in weak craft‑collection value. Quartz watches focus on high cost‑performance and practical experience.
Solar Watch Movement

Vibration frequency means oscillation times of balance wheel per hour. Common standards are 21600 vph and 28800 vph.
Higher vibration frequency brings stronger anti‑interference ability and stable time‑keeping performance. High‑end mechanical movements usually adopt 28800 vph. Meanwhile parts wear distributes evenly for better long‑term stability.
Power reserve stands for how long the watch can keep running after fully‑wound.
Basic mechanical movements offer around 40‑42 hours power reserve. Improved high‑end movements can reach 70‑80 hours or even longer. Long power reserve allows the watch to keep running even if you do not wear it for one or two days, improving practical experience greatly.
Movement finishing is not only visual decoration. It reduces part friction, improves stability and extends movement service life.
Entry‑level movements often have plain finishing. Mid‑range movements apply basic fish‑scale polishing. High‑grade movements come with internal Geneva stripes, pearl grain polishing and precise chamfer decoration. These fine details are important signs to distinguish watch grades.

Daily Watch Maintenance Tips
‑Keep away from magnetic sources such as mobile phones, wireless chargers and speakers. Mechanical watches are easy to get magnetized and run fast.
‑Do not wear watches for bathing, sauna or hot spring.
‑Wipe case and strap regularly to remove sweat and dust, prevent long‑time corrosion.
‑Mechanical watches need full‑service oil‑washing maintenance every 3‑5 years. Replace aging waterproof gaskets meanwhile.
