The essence of the Rainbow Daytona lies in the gradient-colored gem-set bezel. Natural gemstones often have imperfections, so the gems used undergo optimization treatments to achieve a pure, bright, and rich texture. ZF meticulously selected and matched 36 gems from tens of thousands to achieve the most harmonious color gradient transition. The most challenging aspect is that the watch is a small-scale production model, requiring not just one set of gradient gemstones but at least dozens of sets to produce the corresponding number of watches, making it extremely rare.

The hour markers on the dial are crafted from square-cut gradient-colored gems, while the three sub-dials use a technique called “Gold Crystals”. The dial surface presents a texture similar to the Widmansttten pattern found in nickel-iron meteorites. When the watch is tilted, the irregular patterns on the “Gold Crystals” refract light differently, giving off a shimmering effect, creating a deep and unique visual experience.
