Regarding the details and craftsmanship, to be honest, the current level of craftsmanship across the industry is quite similar, with no obvious shortcomings. This includes the bezel and the movement, which also features the Dandong 4130 movement. The color on the dial is also quite accurate, including its sunburst pattern and the CD pattern on the three sub-dials. The central sunburst pattern is also very much in line with the original. The hour markers, including the luminescence, are also well executed. The central axis, as well as the crown on the side, are well-aligned with the original, featuring the small-large-small pattern of three dots on the crown.

The case is made of 904L stainless steel, whereas the original is 18K white gold, so there will be some difference in weight. However, the case shape is very close to the original, and the overall polishing is quite bright. The time adjustment is also consistent with the original, with one position for time setting. The movement, the top-tier Dandong 4130, functions flawlessly. The chronograph function works as follows: after unscrewing the crown and pressing it, the large second hand starts moving. When the large second hand completes one full rotation, the small sub-dial at 3 o’clock advances by one mark, indicating that one minute has passed. After two rotations, the chronograph hour hand will move by one mark. If you don’t need the chronograph function, you can turn it off by first pausing it and then pressing the reset button at the bottom.

The strap is made of fluorine rubber with embedded steel sheets, which is similar to the one used by the C Factory. The clasp has been well-polished, and although there might be a slight difference compared to C Factory’s version, it’s nearly impossible to notice without a direct comparison. The 7CD engraving code, the precious metal mark AU750, and the dog head balance scale are all clearly visible. The engraving on the back of the case is also quite deep.

Overall, the VS Factory Gray Rubber Daytona is very well-made and offers excellent value for money.
